From across Turkey, young entrepreneurs participating in TÜSİAD's entrepreneurship program Youth Means Business! began the last day of the camp program with excitement. A sweepstakes was organized concerning the presentations for matching with guides. Prior to their presentation, each groups concentrated on their last minute preparations.
The fourth day of “TÜSİAD These Young People Have the Potential” camp, of which we are Gold Sponsors has ended.
Entrepreneurs started the day with a speech entitled “Ecosystem of Entrepreneurship in Turkey” by Doğan Taşkent, Executive Board Member of Atabay. Taşkent warned young people against the massive challenges of entrepreneurship, pointing out the importance of finding answers to questions such as “Why have I arrived here? Why am I going to become an entrepreneur?” The experienced speaker also emphasized how solutions or success cannot be achieved without going out in the field, experiencing problems first hand, feeling them. He concluded his speech with the words: “Your client is out there in the world, not here! You have to go and find them!”
Entrepreneurs from all over Turkey joined the camp to turn their business ideas into projects. On the second day of the camp, a laughter yoga practice was carried out, a regular part of TÜSİAD “These Young People Have the Potential” initiative. The opening remarks were given by Sinem Ulutürk Cinbiş, Project Advisor, during which the sleepy eyes of entrepreneurs began to sparkle with energy, ready to seize opportunities.
“TÜSİAD These Young People Have the Potential” camp, of which we are Gold Sponsors, helps university students develop an innovative perspective and entrepreneurial competence, supporting them in all aspects including training, networking, incubation activities and mentorship. This year, the camp was launched with the speech by our CEO Dr. İzel Levi Coşkun, the Chairman of the Working Group.
