About the session

Date: June 2, 2021

Time: 13:00 – 13:40 (GMT+3)

Digitalization, already on the agenda of the Chinese government before the pandemic, now leads technological development with an ever-increasing urgency under the conditions of the pandemic.  Digitalization, globally initiated before the pandemic as a process led by The People’s Republic of China, has become a critical element which has started to be included in economic estimates. Today, China’s position in digitalization, internet, and technology, with its achievements and aspects open to further improvement, reached a level which impresses various sectors. China bridged the gap with the world and became a global leader in artificial intelligence, super apps, online payment systems, 5G technology. How shall we pursue China’s steps in R&D, innovation and digitalization to improve our technological capacity?
