DECISION BY THE COUNCIL OF STATE PLENARY SESSION OF THE LAW CHAMBERS
The Council of State's Plenary Session of the Law Chambers decided that it was not against the law to refer the audited period to valuation committees shortly before the end of the lapse of time, thereby stopping such lapse of time. Thus, the five-year lapse-of-time period for audits can be extended up to six years.
15% WITHHOLDING TAX RATE IMPOSED ON FREE EXCHANGE FUNDS
A 15% withholding tax will be imposed on the portfolio management revenues of Free Exchange Funds pursuant to the Presidential decision of 3 June. This rate was previously 0%. The Ministry needs to make a statement to eliminate some hesitations regarding the implementation of the said withholding.
E-ACCOUNTING VOUCHER APPLICATION
The Revenue Administration published the "Electronically-Created Accounting Voucher Manual". The manual in question sets out minimum requirements for accounting vouchers.
CORONA CRISIS - IMPACTS ON TAXATION
